Been taking a ton of photos lately. On the sixth was my dad's 50th birthday party, photographed that. Today I followed my sister around on a field trip to the Children's Museum, photographing her on the job working at the day care and of course taking pictures of the kids. Spent a few rolls on that, it was tons of fun. Kids are always fun to take pictures of. These kids were great because they'd see me taking their picture and not care, just keep doing whatever it was they were doing, not even noticing when my really bright flash went off. Today was also Anna's birthday, a tea party, we had to dress up as old people. Lauren looked gorgeous and cute, as always, and Emily looked quite humorous, but wouldn't let me photograph her because she's not comfortable with her body yet. She's beautiful, and has modeled for me before, and is really good at it, she'll let me know when she's ready to be photographed. Lauren modeled for me in Anna's back yard, she is amazing, I think I got some good shots of her. There was a stray cat and a flat, dirty soccer ball in the yard, so she interacted with those in her tea party dress. Anna just painted her room and I was taking a photograph of her, just taking my time composing the shot, when I realized that she had a big, red, blank wall! No posters! No distractions! Totally hitting that up before she puts stuff up there. It's a dream background/wall. Tommorow Greyson and I have a date to downtown (mind you, this is not a date) where he's going to model for me at the above location, which is a loading dock by the Market and it's really, really awesome.
I still have 19 rolls of film to develop, after tommorow it will probably be 21...ugh. I can't wait until I can develop my own film. Photography is an expensive hobby, and being able to do my own developing is definitly going to help cut back the cost.
