i stumbled out of the movie theater, blinking under the grey clouds that had just finished dumping their moisture onto the streets of this city. the movie was a concert documentary, and like all live music it made me cry. not tears of sadness. far from it. tears from love, of happiness unable to be contained. i hid my face behind the stiff notecard add that advertised the realease date of the film onto DVD. the tears crowded about my eyes. my love for music, all of it, and making music, is that overwhelming. just to see someone playing an instrument is enough to make me cry.
